I’ve finally got a chance to watch “Rubber” and it didn’t disappoint at all. Rubber, for the ones who don’t know, is a 2010 movie directed by Quentin Dupieux (Mr. Oizo himself) and I’ve had my eye on it since it was shown in SXSW. Took me quite a while to actually watch it and it was as entertaining as I thought it would be.
There’s not much to Rubber other than the fact that it’s a movie about a killer tire. That’s all you really need to know. Having an inanimate object such as a tire as the lead in this movie gives us great moments of timing and subtlety and I wanted to share a little section from the movie. No spoilers, no need to worry.
